Spring 2011 West Quad hosts and attendees!

The NewSchool of Architecture + Design hosted the Spring 2011 AIAS West Quad Conference. 5 AIAS members from the Berkeley chapter spent 3 days, April 14-17th, in sunny San Diego with over a hundred other AIAS members and architecture students from all around the western states. It was a weekend filled with networking, architectural tours of the city, lectures, design charrettes, exchanges of horror studio stories, and bonding time over drinks at night. West Quad Conference is held every semester by a different AIAS chapter of the West Quad. These conferences are a great chance to meet other architecture students outside of Wurster. Have you ever thought about how our architecture education is compared to other schools? Do other architecture students use Rhino as much as we do? Is it normal for us to pull this many all-nighters in studio? Quad Conferences are the best time to meet new architecture friends and ask all of these questions! We can't wait for the next Quad Conference in the fall, and we would love to have more members join us!
