This year, AIAS Berkeley is run by 7 officers, along with Tom Buresh as our faculty advisor. Officers are chosen by election at the end of spring semester, and positions are open to all AIAS members. Each officers have specific roles and responsibilities, and together as a group, AIAS officers plan and run events on and off campus. Here's a brief description on each of the officers:
President: Jinach Choi (Glendale, CA), 4th year architecture major, music minor. She has finished all of the required studios and Spain 101 program. You'll find her sitting at the circulation desk in Environmental Design Library on Tuesdays.Outside of Wurster, Jinah's involved in Chun Jin Ahm, a Korean Catholic Fellowship at Berekeley, as a vocalist for the praise team, as well as a Korean students team blog, Berkeley Opinion. On her spare time, she likes to watch movies and TV shows, listen to music, and browse the web. She also enjoys going to art museums and eating macaroons.

External Vice-President: Whitney Liang (Houston, TX), 4th year architecture major , sustainable design & music minors. She has completed all of the required studio as well as one semester of 101. Whitney is involved in Innovative Design as well as Habitat for Humanity. She likes to play the violin and the piano.
spirit animal: "If an animal, I think I'd be a hyena."
Internal Vice-President: Niko Hur (Seoul, Korea), 4th year architecture major, sustainable design minor. Niko has completed all of the required studio as well as summer 101 studio. He likes to listen to music, play the guitar, and sketch during his spare time.

Secretart: Cynthia Bathgte (Mill Valley, CA), 3rd year architecture major . Cynthia is also involved in architecture co-ed fraternity , Alpha Rho Chi. She's currently taking Arch 100B. Cynthia loves to watch movies, go to concerts, eat, obsessively use the laser cutter, and surf on the Internet.

Treasurer: Regina Ntongo (Uganda, East Africa), 4th year architecture major. Regina works as a security monitor for UC Berkeley dorms. She loves architecture, and she also loves to sing and dance.
Publicist: Tiffany Yuan (Fremont, CA), 3rd year architecture major, structural engineering & sustainable design minor. Tiffany is currently taking Arch 100B. She's involved in Innovative Design, Habitat for Humanity, Global Architecture Bridge, Civil Engineering Steel Bridge Competition Team, CED Admissions Ambassador, and Dance (I don't know how she does it). On her spare time, she enjoys Yelping and eating ice cream really fast and not getting brain freezes.

Assistant: Jeehyun Choi (Anyang, Korea), 3rd year architecture major, city planning minor. Jeehyun is also taking Arch 100B this semester. She loves to listen to music and party. On her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano.
